jewelry design commission begins with a preliminary discussion of
your ideal jewelry design.
Tell me up front as much as possible about your heart's desire for this
custom jewelry design,
from your color and style preferences to the "personality" you want the jewelry to convey. If you are asking me
to create a custom jewelry design as a gift for someone, tell me about the
intended recipient's personal style, personality and color preferences.
Finally, let
me know about any special parameters or requirements that
would need to be accommodated -
materials, timeframe,
price range, etc.
Once there is
agreement on the direction and scope of the
 project,
you'll pay a deposit based on the cost estimate and the real design work begins. You will be involved
throughout the design process and will have the opportunity to view scans
of
design choices
and
work-in-progress
so you can provide feedback or additional direction/clarification.
You will also approve the
final design before it is mailed to
you so you can be sure the finished jewelry will be exactly what you wanted and expected.
